Completely remodeled in 2017, this two bedroom, one bath cabin is on the Gunnison River. The cabin is on 2.5 acres of riverfront property and across a footbridge that will take you to the Water Park (my balance isn't great and with no handrails, I do not use it). The Dos Rios Grill and Golf Course (open to the public) is a lovely .5 mile walk. A great spot for kayaking, trout fishing spot, and an excellent base camp for exploring the Gunnison valley. Located just miles from Hartman Rocks Rec area, Blue Mesa Reservoir, 2 miles from downtown Gunnison, Colorado, 1/2 mile from Dos Rios Golf Course and 30 miles from Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte. Enjoy skiing, rafting, fly fishing, and biking right out your front door! We are in the flight path, but it's Gunnison airport, not DIA. I think the planes are cool to watch when they do fly over.
This property is shared with The Aspen House. All hammocks, firepits, and picnic tables are there for the two homes to share. There is a lot of room, so play nice and enjoy this park-like atmosphere!

Notes
The cottage is 10 foot from the Gunnison River. Please be careful with children. Highway 50 runs parallel with the Gunnison River so you may hear road noise. The Gunnison airport flight path is directly above the Gunnison River so you may hear jet noise. No A/C. Nights get very cool. Due to the danger of the highway location and our no pet pollicy; we do not allow pets
